Hunter Warfield review in Little Rock, Arkansas: COMPANY SUCKS!!!!!

I have been sending Hunter Warfield payments for an account they have every month since October. Today I just happened to check my credit report and they filed a statement saying that I am deregotory on my account with them and I'm not even late or 30 days late at all. I cwould understand if I have not sent any payments at all or if I was actually late paying them. They don't know how to talk to people, they are so rude and unprofessional. Something needs to be seriously done about this company and its unlawful and unjust ways. I really Dont understand what makes these people do such idiotic things and have such horrible ways.

Hunter Warfield the worst to work with...

In 2009 my daughter and I rented an apartment. I was making good money at that time, however, things changed. I was let go from my position, which caused me to become unable to pay the rent. I spoke with the landlord in regards to this situation, WestGlen apartment complex, Urbandale, Iowa. They were understanding to my situation, and stated that they would be able to rent the apartment in a timely manner. I gave our notice of leaving before my contract was up, left the apartment and moved away. At this time WestGlen was constantly going through different managers, so every time I would try to speak with someone, the management team changed, and notes were never taken on my account. It was not until a year later I hear something from HUNTER WARFIELD. The rudest, nastiest company I have ever had to deal with. The man from HW yelled, cursed, and demanded payment immediately. They would not listen to my situation of being unemployed, no money coming in, how was I send money out? This company must enjoy having the negative comments made about them, they seem to thrive on ruining people, instead of trying to work with them to get the money owed. Now being two years later, they still will not send a statement to me, nor will they contact me. They constantly contact me daughter without sending statments to either of us. The legality of this is awful. There are laws set out to protect us the consumer from harrassing phone calls that are demeaning, threatening and down right rude. If I was able to find a great attorney or legal expert to help with this matter, I would like to see this company ruined just as they have ruined every customer they are trying to collect from. We the customer know that we have a bill to pay, work with us, or write it off. If anyone knows of anyone who can help legally with this matter at a very low cost, please post it on this site. I believe that everyone would benefit from this information.

Contact the FDCPA. All collections companies have to follow the law. They cannot harrass you or make threats.

Well Mr. Perplexed your daughter is going to have to get a better job or maybe you could help her make payments.

If there is a family member with a credit card she could have them pay it and she could pay them back later.

It will protect her from ruining her credit and rental history not to mentioned possibly getting sued by the apt complex if they choose to do so.

As for her roommate she chose to violate the lease and because of the Joint & Several Liability in her contract both roommates are held liable whether or not your daughter caused the incident or not.

This is what happens when people don't read what they sign. One piece of advice I can give you for her NOT to avoid the calls because eventually she will have to face reality.

My daughter moved out of an apartment complex in KY and is now getting notices from Hunter Warfield. We haven't called them back yet, but they have now started with phone calls.

How is a person who makes minimum wage able to pay this kind of debt? It wsn't her decision to move; she was evicted after her roommate started a fight one evening and the police were called.

Any suggestions on how to handle them? She know she owes this; she just don't have the money...

Your quote:

"I would like to see this company ruined just as they have ruined every customer they are trying to collect from:. We the customer know that we have a bill to pay, work with us, or write it off:"

Start by first accepting the fact that you are NOT a customer. You are a debtor.

Second it doesn't matter you are unemployed. That has NOTHING to do with the contract you legally signed.

Finally they don't have to work with you, they represent the client NOT you. Their client IS the customer. They have to go by what they say NOT what you "feel" is right.

Wow, never said I was trying to get something for free, try again! If you had read the statement I made, I stated that I had the intention to pay it.

Things happen in life, but I suppose you are the "perfect" person that nothing ever happens to. Well great for you!. There is harassment here, when HW calls every other hour on the same day. Bill collectors are by LAW not allowed to do this, you know it and I know it as well as HW knows it.

Sounds like you are with HW, if so you will get what is coming to you. Being one of those persons that yells, swears, demeans, etc the customer.

Try again. There is no harassment here.

When you breach your contract with a company and don't pay them what you owe them then they have every right to call you to recoup the money you owe them.

Stop trying to make excuses and pay up what you owe. Everyone wants something free these days.

This company is so rude. I called to resolve a unpaid debt from an old apartment complex. They wanted me to settle for $3,000. I told them I didnt have that kind of money and asked if they would work out a monthly payment plan. They said no, and I needed to stop acting...

Hunter Warfield

You talk about rude. This company is the rudest company that I no. I call because they called my job in response to money I owe for moving out of an apartment. The Maryland law states the I was suppose to received an Itemized list of charges within 45 day of move out. I did not received anything. Now I am not dening the charges but I don't want to pay any legal fee, collection charges because I was never notified. A rude man tells me that it does not matter if I received the information or not. He said they just have to show it was mailed and if does not matter if it went to the wrong address. So I asked what address did you mail it to. He told me 5 Kinwall. I told him I don't live their and why wasn't it mailed to my last known address. Then the rude man states you pay the balance in full by the end of the day or else. Then he hung up the phone.

Sophomoric statements like "PAY ON TIME, AND U WONT HAVE A PROBLEM HAVE A GOOD DAY!" fail to address the larger problem here. I am managing things for my elderly in-laws and see first hand what a nightmare it is to deal with unprofessional and rude HW employees.

I KNOW for a fact that their apartment bills were paid in full. It is difficult to understand how a business not accredited by the BBB is allowed to report erroneous information to credit agencies.

VYou can sue them. You should have a copy of your finale move out or they should have sent one. It is against the law for them to not send a itemized list.

am responding to a claim that H.W. has through Camden Lake Pine Apartments.

They have devised a scheme to collect unsubstanciated claims based on a loophole they came up with in their lease. they will do a walk through at the end of a lease, then upgrade the apartment and charge all of it to the tenant. I am a victim of this scheme. i lived there 8 months by myself and traveled most of the time for my work.

at the end of the lease, they claimed carpet replacement, damages, cleaning. all ficticiuos. Then using H.W. there is no recourse for the claim.

You cannot dispute it on the credit reports, cannot contact them to remove it, cannot do anything but pay. the only way to remove this entry is to pay. it is a completely bullet proof scam.

Please format a class action law suit against H.W. and Camden Lake pine for racateering and fraud.

I received a call from Kelly, at Hunter Warfield about a bill that I am late on. I tried to explain my situation. She would not listen to my situation. I know that I am late and when I have the money the company will be paid. I had a 750 credit score, there really...

I too spoke with a Kelly and have never in my life been talked to so rudely before. I called trying to settle my debt with them and they refuse to work something out with me.

Instead I was cut of several times, put on hold several times, told I know nothing about the law, then when asking a question her response was, " and now we are back to where we were before this tangent." then when I refused to give her my employers information, she googled it and contacted my employer anyways! Never have I had such a horrible experience....I'll be filing a complaint about her for sure!
