I think Hunter Warfield is horrible

The sent me a bill for a bill that is 7 or 8 years old. I don't still have the proof that I paid it. So they call me several times a day they use all these other names. Which I just book as soon as I get the number. I feel I am going to get a attorney to settle this. It so sad that they bug senior citizens like this. Especially a bill that is so old, but they no that so they just keep on calling. I live on social security. I think there should be a law after 2 or 3 phone calls they cant call.

Debt pay off

No one has called me back. They had no problem calling me when I owed money, now that I have paid off my debt, nobody wants to talk to me...crickets!! I want this paid off debt removed from my credit report. I paid it off in a settlement bout 3 month's ago. It needs to be removed from my credit report.

AWFUL! I called to discuss a bill with them. The guy was EXTREMEMLY RUDE. Stated that he was "in a law firm" and could "sue me".. he continued with threats if I didn't make a payment TODAY. I told him I wanted to DISPUTE this due to it not being correct. (I already disputed this with my credit agency) he told me no so I requested to speak with a supervisor and he hung up.

Preferred solution: I have paid 350.00 of a 700.00 settlement and i am trying to pay the other 350 but they act like they dont want to settle this they would rather harrass me like a little child they need to pull there head out of there *** and be professional WHINEYASSES

User's recommendation: what ever you do do not under any circumstance beleive anything they tell you they are proud to lie and abuse you there tough on the phone i would like them to talk *** to me in person i have no problem serving them a beatdown.

As a former debt collector I strongly urge those who owe to pay what they owe, but never have I worked w/ anyone less willing to take my money. I lost my job in the coronavirus pandemic and things have been rough and as such I lost my apartment the fees of which fell to Hunter Warfield not a week after me being booted. They asked me to pay a fee over a thousand dollars more than what I ever owed. I initially asked for a settlement and they seemingly couldn't work w/ me below 75% and having worked in the business for years I understand client specifics so I'm not a mean bean over all that fiasco. What irked me was they were unwilling to take what I could pay on the balance in full. I offered payments well above what I could afford to at least start getting something resolved, but that wasn't good enough for them. I simply wanted to pay you but I can't, so I guess thanks for saving me the money I was going to give you.

Trying to collect a debt not owed by me. I left a rental property and the rental property refunded me part of the deposit. Hunter Warfield began to try to collect a debt not owed to the rental property about a year after my lease expired. I was able to get them to stop communicating and trying to collect the debt through the BBB. But they ended up putting a collections account on my credit report. So far, I have been successful in removing the collection accounts, but only after finding out after trying to apply for new credit. If you have to: take them to your local State court.

Being ripped off

I rented at steeplechase houses.... moving in there were dog *** stains on the carpet....the breaker would trip with a night light...we were exposed to carbon monoxide and i had to hook it up myself....the bathroom had black mold and they just painted over it...you could put your foot through the bathroom floor from rotted wood....there were no storm windows to put in for the winter time....when i ask for them they said thats all they had....This place is a *** hole and the management *** lies to you.....after i complained...i was given the option to move out...and when i did they hit my credit report for 1000 dollars going back on thier word...VERY *** PLACE TO LIVE NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DUMP TO NO ONE

UPDATE: The only thing they provided was the two attachments to this email. To date this FASLE DEBT on my credit report for an apartment that I NEVER RENTED that was placed under my social security number (SSN) is still there and there has been no compensation for...

There is a charge against my ssn but under someone else’s name and Hunter Warfield won’t provide me the documentation I asked for so that I can fight it. I provided my email address so that I can receive the documents quicker however they still have not sent it.

I also went on to Experian and did NOT see this “charge” claim listed and I am baffled at the fact that I am now without a place to call home for my son and I because of this charge. I am asking for the documents so that I can go to the police station and file charges.

This is company wants you to pay for a debt that is not yours but won’t give you any information about the debt and where it came from. Will someone help me, I need to get this cleared before my current home becomes homelessness.

I called them the first time a lady hung up in my face the second time I called the guy Tom from the collection department was rude and the supervisor Henery told me he didn’t have time to talk to me also his id number 2670 they was gossiping this happen around 4:25pm wenesday June 12 2019 they are so unprofessional.
